We work closely with our parents and welcome good ideas. Much of what you see in the nursery today is the result of parental feedback. We love children and taking care of them is our pleasure.

So, we understand the importance of developing children, as well as looking after their basic needs: whether it's getting down on the floor and playing with them, providing educational toys and supervision, visiting the many child attractions in and around York, or just ensuring fresh air and stimulating play.

We realise that healthy children need healthy food. Our children enjoy a hot nutritious meal, prepared fresh daily on the premises. And meal times are an important part of our daily routine too. Children learn valuable skills whilst enjoying their food with playmates and staff.

Only the best is good enough for our children, including free Pampers® nappies and Johnson's® baby wipes.

And of course we are Ofsted approved and follow their guidelines without exception.

We accept nursery vouchers from most childcare providers; and welcome families receiving working tax credits, which can cover up to 70% of childcare costs.

The Nursery is owned by Helen Lane, who is a trained paediatric nurse and mother of two small children.
